Partnership with the Green Fund enables the brand to actively participate in Warsaw's green infrastructure development program through

providing financial support to pro-ecological initiatives


The brand has decided to allocate a portion of the proceeds from every sale, both in-store and online, to the purchase and planting of bulbous plants in areas managed by the Greenery Authority of the capital city of Warsaw.

Declaration of support for the 10 principles of the UN Global Compact

In 2021, AK signed the United Nations Declaration, respecting 10 principles implemented in the areas of human

rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption. By incorporating the 10 principles of the UN Global Compact into its internal strategies, policies, and

procedures, the AK brand fulfills its responsibilities to people and the planet.


The brand has committed to:

– uphold the freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining

– support the elimination of all forms of slavery and forced labor

Pro-ecological activities

AK collaborates with ethical manufacturers who provide their employees with fair wages and working conditions (Fair Wear Foundation).

Clothes and accessories are made in Poland, which significantly reduces the environmental footprint. In 2021, the brand decided to allocate

a portion of proceeds from each sale, both in-store and online, to purchase and plant bulbous plants in areas managed by

Packaging

According to our manufacturer's declaration, the packaging used by AK is made of cellulose, which is a renewable raw material. Its

acquisition takes place without detriment to the Earth's resources. The papers meet the E13432 standards, according to which they are classified as 100% biodegradable material. The papers can be processed up to 7 times, or incinerated with energy recovery. Paper is a 100% ecological material, and thus friendly to the natural environment. The cases in which we recommend keeping AK accessories are made from surplus materials from which collections are sewn.

Production

Clothing and accessories are produced locally in Poland. The natural or recycled fabrics and accessories used in production are manufactured in

Europe. The natural leathers used for bags and accessories are 100% vegetable-tanned in an environmentally friendly way [read more]. All packaging

used in internal and external circulation is 100% biodegradable.
